Hi, I'm Vladimir Serjanin
I know it's long, just call me "Vlad" 😄
Who am I?
I’m a Senior Product Designer and Product Design Lead with 8+ years across product design, UX/UI, visual design, design leadership, and digital product work. Over the last several years, my work has focused on complex B2B SaaS, fintech, marketplace, and AI-driven products.
I work best on products where the challenge is bigger than the interface: product logic, user behavior, growth, system structure, and business impact all need to work together.
My main focus is growth-focused product design, lean UX, behavioral analytics, design systems, and multi-platform experiences. I work closely with product, engineering, data, marketing, and leadership teams to define problems, test ideas, and ship measurable improvements.
Recent results include 34% higher inquiry rates, 31% lower application abandonment, 47.7% higher session frequency, 27% activation improvement, and 66% growth in loan volume.
I also use AI in my design workflow for research synthesis, prototyping, content exploration, workflow automation, faster ideation, and product concept testing. I’m interested in practical AI: using it to move faster, reduce friction, and improve product decisions without losing user-centered thinking.
Core focus: B2B SaaS, growth design, product-led growth, AI-assisted design, UX strategy, lean UX, UX research, behavioral analytics, A/B testing, activation, retention, conversion, monetization UX, pricing UX, onboarding, design systems, accessibility, Figma, cross-functional leadership.

Product strategy
I design complex B2B SaaS flows that turn unclear user needs into structured product experiences.

Growth and activation
I focus on first-session experience, PLG funnels, user activation, and reducing friction in complex product workflows.

AI and predictive analytics
I worked on AI-driven product experiences at Pecan AI, including onboarding, model setup, GenAI assistants, and predictive analytics learning flows.

Design leadership
I mentor designers, align cross-functional teams, and build scalable design processes across product, engineering, and data teams.
My passion
I like bringing clarity to complex products and making things dead simple and easy to use. I love analytics, finding patterns, and solving product puzzles that bring real value to users and the business.
For me, good UX feels almost invisible. Users should understand what to do, why it matters, and how to get there without fighting the product.

Tech enthusiast
I’m super interested in AI, machine learning, spatial computing, haptics, robotics, NeRF, and photogrammetry. I like exploring new technologies and thinking how they can turn into useful, human, and easy-to-use products.
I’m especially interested in the point where advanced technology stops feeling scary and starts feeling natural.

Webcomics fan
I’ve been a long-time fan of different asian webcomics and novels. They help me relax after busy workdays, but they also give me a lot of visual ideas, story references, and dramatic main-character energy.
It’s one of my favorite ways to switch my brain off while still getting inspired.

Misha’s father (She/her/hers)
For the past 4 years, I’ve been a proud cat dad to Misha, my little cat princess. She fully believes the apartment belongs to her, and honestly, she might be right.
Life with her is chaotic, cute, and full of playful bites, scratches, and tiny moments that make my day better.

Songwriter
Outside of design, I enjoy vocals and songwriting. I like improvising lyrics and melodies, recording rough ideas, and slowly turning them into complete songs.
Most of them stay in my notes forever, but sometimes one actually survives.
